Flexiglass

Flexiglass gives you more control over your windows in Mac OS X. It enables you to move and resize them or place them in specific positions at a moment's notice. What's more, the application makes these tasks particularly easy to perform on a MacBook's trackpad, thanks to its multi-touch gesture support. You can have it up and running in just a few seconds, on any popular Mac OS X version.

The application places a wide range of options at your disposal, which are neatly grouped on different tabs. All you have to do is click a series of check boxes and radio buttons and specify keyboard shortcuts if you want to. While Flexiglass is running on your Mac, you can move windows by holding down a key and one of the mouse buttons and moving the mouse, regardless of where you place the mouse pointer. You can set up similar shortcuts for resizing windows.

Besides moving and resizing windows, the application places various preset layouts at your disposal, which you can apply on your windows with custom keyboard shortcuts. You can move an active window to the center to one of the screen's edges or corners with a simple keystroke.

The application comes with other useful features as well, like real zoom, real close and others, which can be activated immediately, with a single click. With real zoom activated, you can maximize a window on the entire screen, by right clicking the green Zoom button on a window.

Flexiglass provides full support for trackpads and for multi-touch trackpads, so you can use it just as well on a MacBook. The application lets you switch between mouse and trackpad mode instantly, with a single click and it can also auto-detect your input method.
